- Feb 1—Men’s Breakfast 8 a.m. This month the men will be meeting on the first Sunday of the month instead of the second (Feb 8 cancelled).
- Feb 2—Sunday Study Group 9 a.m. is starting a new study with the book, Streams of Living Water: Essential Practices from the Six Great Traditions of Christian Faith, by Richard J. Foster. Have you ever wondered why Christian churches, practices and beliefs are so widely varied? This study covers what started these beliefs and how they developed to better understand other believers!
- Feb 2—Youth Chess Club 12:30-1:30 starts. Youth are invited to a short study form the book, Spiritual Principles Related to Chess: A Chess Player’s Casual Walk Through the Bible, by Dave Phelps followed by chess practice. - Feb 6-8, 2025 You Can Rise Again (Introductory Course)—Emotional trauma is a response to a terrible event overwhelming your capacity to cope. Fran Graham, who is a Foursquare chaplain and expert in the field of Psychological Trauma Intervention will offer this course to demonstrate how to be the hands and feet of Jesus when caring for someone in crisis. Learn how to put Luke 4:18 into practice with balance and resilience in your own life, then discover how to help others in distress with practical and effective ministry skills. Course times: 6-9 pm Thurs and Fri, 9 am-5 pm Saturday. Cost: $95 per person. Register at www.theacademy-nicrt.com.
