Get Involved

A group of people holding hands while praying together

You will find various opportunities and small groups at Dayspring Church to meet people and to make friends, and to be involved in different ministries of the church.

We believe that prayer is the foundation of everything we do!

Pre-service Prayer.  Meets at 9:30 am on Sundays in the Prayer Room/Library.

Prayer Chain Team. This team is organized into a “telephone tree.” If you have a prayer need, please text, or call Pam Jackson at 406-241-1804. Within a short time, multiple people will pray for your need. If you would like to be part of this ministry, please let Pam know!

Prayer for America — The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:2 to pray for those in authority. This should be a priority in prayer. You can join the Daily National Prayer Call at 12:22 pm Monday through Friday at (719) 718-6038 to be added to the call.

Contact our office to get in touch with the leader of the group in which you are interested (406) 273-4650.

Children’s Ministry Team

The Children’s Ministry is vital not only for today’s church, but to raise up leaders for the church of tomorrow. Every Sunday, dedicated members meet with the children to teach them God’s Word through fun activities. If you would like to serve in the Children’s Ministry, please talk with Linda Talbot at the office (406) 273-4650.

Food Fellowship Teams

Every Sunday after the service, we enjoy visiting with each other over a potluck dinner made by one of the food fellowship teams. Each team prepares food once a month on their assigned Sunday—1st Sunday, 2nd Sunday, etc. Best of all, team members get to know each other, encourage, support, and pray for one another. If you want to be part of this ministry, please call or text Sandy Anderson at (406) 370-3189.

Welcome Ministry

On Sunday mornings, warm and friendly people will greet you as you come in the door to a service. They also help people with questions and give directions as needed. If you enjoy meeting and greeting people, and would like to be a part of this ministry, please call the church office.

Youth Ministry

Our vision is to help young people grow in every way through knowing Christ. We want to help them develop into leaders in their youth culture and ultimately spread the Gospel.

Worship Practice

Each Thursday night, team members and musicians gather for practice at 6:30 pm.

Men’s Ministry

All the men are welcome to get together for short-term studies that focus on particular topics, books or video teaching with discussion following. Please contact Gregory Ammondson for any currently scheduled small groups at (406) 273-4650.

Men’s Breakfast is a time of good food and fellowship on the second Saturday of each month at 8 am at the church.

Women’s Ministry

A Thursday Women’s Bible Study meets at 10:30 am at 5560 Bridlepath Lane in Florence. Contact Pam Chulick for current topic and meeting dates.

Hands-On Help

This group of volunteers helps with various projects for the church building and grounds including construction, painting, remodeling, and landscaping. The Children’s Addition is now complete! Contact Gregory for more information and upcoming projects.

Missions

We are a part of Foursquare Missions International, which coordinates missions around the world. As a local church, we contribute to the Global Fund which fully supports strategic, apostolic, missionaries who are responsible for up to hundreds of Foursquare churches in various regions of the world. To find out more about this work, check out foursquaremissions.org.

In addition, Foursquare Disaster Relief (FDR) provides assistance to our Foursquare pastors and leaders in troubled areas of the world. Hawaii fires: our Foursquare family is facing unimaginable destruction with lives lost, homes destroyed, and families displaced. Two Foursquare churches were lost. Relief efforts are being organized in collaboration with the Foursquare Pacific District, Foursquare Chaplains, and local Foursquare leaders to provide aid. Ukraine: life has been turned upside down for the 44 million Ukrainians since Russia’s invasion causing over a million people to flee from their homes with more to follow. FDR is working closely with the European Foursquare churches and FMI workers to provide food and life-saving essentials. Myanmar: FDR continues to aid in the aftermath of the economic disaster caused by the military coup and the pandemic. Afghan Refugees: Millions have left Afghanistan as refugees with the majority being women and children. FDR is working with the Foursquare churches in Albania and Turkey to help these refugees who left their country with only the clothes on their backs. You can help by sending support funds through the Foursquare Disaster Relief for the quickest response at foursquare.org/get-involved/relief.
